Free educational posters for the home or classroom: Including coloring sheets

We have a great resource for you today, for both the classroom or home. We know its important for kids to have fun at home, and when they learn. That’s why we have so many amazing learning activities on the site. But why not help with these educational posters in prominent positions within the home or classroom?

This image is offering eight free educational posters about the Solar System, Earth, Venus, and Saturn for people to download in 2023.

Whether it’s learning to read, write, count or simply understanding the world around them, these posters are a fun tool for helping

Either as a parent or a teacher, why not help out kids by creating an environment that fosters learning and growth. These educational posters are a step in the right direction as they are educational and fun.

Why display educational posters like these at home or in the classroom?

Displaying educational posters is a great way to encourage learning and development from an early age. By having visual aids in the classroom or at home, kids are more likely to remember important information. They have a visual reminder of it. If you, like me, have children who are neurodivergent, then visual reminders can be a godsend for learning, and remembering information.

These posters are a great way to reinforce some key concepts and provide a point of reference for children. They are also a great way to spark a child’s curiosity and interest in learning.

What do our free educational posters look like?

We have designed these posters to be eye-catching and engaging, making them the perfect addition to any classroom or home environment.

We have included eight posters covering a range of topics, including numbers, alphabet, shapes, days of the week, months of the year, solar system, the weather and colours.

Number poster and the alphabet poster

The first two posters we are covering here are those with numbers and the alphabet on. These posters are designed to help children learn to recognise and identify numbers and letters. By displaying these posters in the classroom or at home, children can easily refer to them and reinforce their learning. The posters feature bright colours and bold lettering, making them easy to read and understand.

Shapes poster and days of the week poster

The next two posters we are chatting out include shapes and days of the week. Learning about shapes is an important part of a child’s development as it helps with spatial awareness and problem-solving skills. The days of the week poster is a great way to help children learn about the order of the days and can also be used to plan out the week’s activities too.

Months of the year and solar system

The months of the year poster is a great way to help children learn the twelve months in order. It features a colored design for each month written in large, easy-to-read letters. This poster is perfect for displaying in the classroom or at home, allowing children to reference it when required.

You can also cut out the month poster, and the days of the week poster and use them as a sequencing activity with the kids too.

The solar system poster is a great tool for teaching children about space and the planets. The poster features a colourful design with each planet clearly labelled, and in order too.

Children will love learning about the different planets and their unique characteristics. Displaying this poster in the classroom or at home can spark a child’s curiosity and interest in science.

Again, cut out the planets for an additional sequencing activity. If you like science ideas do check out our stem section. We have some awesome space colouring pages, as well as a solar system game for the kids too.

The weather poster and color poster

The weather poster is a great way of teaching children about the different weather forecasts. It features a bright and colourful design with images of the weather including sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, stormy and more. By displaying this poster, children can learn to identify different weather patterns. You can even use it to help them to understand how they affect our daily lives as well.

The colors poster is a fun way to teach colors of course. It features a vibrant design with each color labelled. It is a perfect poster for displaying at home or school to help kids to learn.

The room features colorful chairs and a poster on the wall.

Free coloring sheets for all the educational posters

In addition to the free educational posters, we are also offering free colouring sheets for each of them. These colouring sheets are a fun way for children to engage with the posters and develop their creativity. They can be used to reinforce learning and provide a fun activity for children to do too.

Above are some of the examples of the posters for you – we have them all available as coloring sheets below.

KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania.
