Google Hangout – wetting the bed and how to help

Welcome to another of our Google Hangouts where we talk about everyday subjects around parenting from potty training to teasing at school. Beckie Whitehouse, our resident coach, is joining me today. In this video, we will talk about wetting the bed and how to understand bedwetting coupled with nighttime potty training.

My own son struggled with when he was younger, thankfully he has now grown out of it.

Around 1 in 12 children at 4.5 years old are still wetting the bed but it can also affect 1 in 100 adults. Did you know that doctors won’t consider it a problem until your kid is about 5?

If this is the case then there may be medical reasons for it so it is worth popping to your local GP to have a chat. Did you know that doctors won’t consider it a problem until your kid is about 5?
