You’ve been egged sign and activity printable for Easter family fun

Easter activities and ideas are a great way of bringing the family together, or having fun in the classroom. We’ve got something a little different for you today though; an Easter idea for getting your neighbourhood having a bit of fun together. You’ve been egged is a traditional from the US, but we want to make it global! Why not have a little bit of fun with your neighbours and friends from time to time that kids, and adults will love?

It’s been a difficult time for so many, we think that the you’ve been egged activity just spreads a little much needed joy to one and all, so we are offering this you’ve been egged sign for free as part of our premium site. We are going to give you a little more info on what the activity involved here – so you know a little bit about why you might bother to do this…

How to take part in the You’ve Been Egged activity

This is actually a really simple concept, it’s a bit like the You’ve Been Booed Halloween idea, but with a chocolate theme instead! In order to take part, all you need to do is:

1. Print out the You’ve been Egged printable by scrolling down, joining the Time to Pee club, and then clicking on the link below to check out the printable from our free membership option on our premium site,
2. Buy some fabulous little goodies to leave at someone’s house, a friend, or a neighbour you know, or even a family member,
3. Alternatively, you can of course make some amazing goodies and leave those instead – usually it is eggs, but what about these wonderful mini egg brownies? You could make these and leave them, or how about a little Easter gift – like these Fimo Easter bunnies! We have loads of Easter ideas to inspire you with more than just the usual eggs. You could even paint some rocks like Easter Eggs too!
4. Visit the house that you are going to “Egg” and leave the goodies (there are 12 you need) in someone suitable – perhaps on the lawn, or on the wall, or anywhere that you won’t damage or intrude too much on their property, depending on how well you know the people in the house you are Egging!
5. Leave the you’ve been egged sign on the doorstep – and rung the doorbell, and then
6. RUN – so they don’t see you?!?!

The last item is optional – it is entirely up to you whether or not you want to do this so that you can give them a real surprise. Make sure you know them well enough, or are sure that you won’t upset anyone doing this of course too.

Some great ideas for chocolates to use for this are any small foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, Cadburys Creme Eggs, Cadbury’s Mini Eggs, or Lindt Easter bunnies. There are packs of Vegan chocolate eggs available too. Hopefully one of these ideas works for you.
