The year’s end is a special time, filled with excitement and opportunities to reflect on what matters most. To make the countdown to the New Year extra memorable, KiddyCharts has created a delightful set of End-of-Year Countdown Cards. What do the End of Year countdown cards look like?
Our KiddyCharts’ End-of-Year countdown cards are a fun way to count down the final days to the New Year. Though, you could use them for other things to – that is what we have designed them for.
The set includes 30 cards, with six each on an A4 sheet, marked up with a simple, but cute, design and a specific day count (e.g., “30 Days to go” down to “YOU Made it!”).
As you know, we love a spot of coloring, so kids also have the option to use our pre-colored cards or get creative with coloring-in versions that allow them to add their personal touch. So, we’ve got two for the price (!) of one.

How could you use the cards
Using the countdown cards is pretty easy to do:
- Print and prepare the cards
- Print the countdown cards,
- Laminate or frame the first page for easy access. This will help preserve the set, especially if little hands are involved!
- Cut out the cards
- Cut all the countdown squares, including the coloring-in designs for kids who want to express their creativity. Kids can decide whether to use the pre-colored versions or create their own masterpieces.
- Arrange the cards
- Put the cards in order from 30 days to 1 day and discard any you don’t need for your countdown. For example, if starting later, simply pick up from your desired day.
- Stack the cards
- Stick the cards on top of each other in reverse order, ensuring they can be easily peeled off one by one.
- Start the countdown
- Remove a card each day as you count down. Watch the excitement grow as that big New Year’s Day with its fireworks and fun approaches.
Why end of year reflection is helpful
The end of the year is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and appreciate what you’ve accomplished. Reflection helps children and adults alike to celebrate growth, process experiences, and set positive goals for the future:
