We have a couple of versions of the game, one for Christmas and one for Thanksgiving – which one will you play with your children and family?

What’s included within the turkey printable game?

As you can see, we have a games cover sheet, and then there is a board for the Christmas game, and Thanksgiving one, followed by a suitable dice for the Thanksgiving and Christmas versions of the game.

The dice for Thanksgiving has pumpkins for dots, which the Christmas one is covered in very cute Christmas puddings!

Why turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas?

Many assume it is because of the First Thanksgiving had by the Pilgrims at Plymouth in the 17th century, but it seems there was no evidence that turkey was even served at this meal. It could just be that it is affordable, has been a traditional for many years, and Charles Dickens popularised it in The Christmas Carol as a celebratory meal.

It has remained easy for people to get hold of, so the tradition has stuck!

Whatever the tradition, it remains a firm favourite with many families, and our game will hopefully remain a tradition at Christmas for some too!

So – you obviously need to download the game – click on the button below to take you to the product in our shop. As long as you are a time to pee member, you can download it if you are logged in. If you aren’t a member, sign up here free! You’ll get 90% of the rest of the shop for free as well.

A family is downloading a free board game to play together during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Helen is a mum to two, social media consultant, and website editor; and this site is (we think) the only Social Enterprise parenting magazine! Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time. KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania. Helen has worked as a digital marketing consultant (IDM qualified) with various organisations, including Channel Mum, Truprint, Talk to Mums, and Micro Scooters.
