Scattergories for kids: Love or Valentines Day ideas

Everyone loves a game of Scattergories don’t they? So we’ve put together a lovely little Scattergories for kids game with a Love or a Valentines Day theme. This works perfectly for February the 14th, but can be done all year round as well. We’ve switched up the title to make sure you can use it anytime you want.

Scattergories is a lovely game for the kids anytime of year, so why limit the activity?

To download this game, you need to be a member of our premium site. You will also be able to download all the other amazing freebies we have for subscribers if you do too!

We have loads of wonderful activities and ideas for kids on our premium site, so why not take a look?

What’s in this scattergories for kids game?

The love theme makes this rather pink – so we hope that you will forgive us this indulgence! As we mentioned, there are a couple of versions of this. One to play around Valentines, and one for any other time of the year.

Categories included within the theme are:

  • Favourite candy,
  • Romantic movie,
  • Something red,
  • Famous couple,
  • Popular gift,
  • Kind of flower,
  • Something soft,
  • Something pink,
  • Activity on a date, and
  • Something white.

These are great categories in a game of scattergories for kids as they are pretty broad, and you can be kind to the kids when they are a little younger.

The section we struggled the most to find any answers to was the movies one, so here is a little bit of help with the ideas for romantic movies suitable for kids. If we found it hard, we think that you might do as well….

Here are the printables for you to take a peak at:

The different sections spell out the word LOVE in the above two sheets.

We also have another set of these scattergories sheets with the word CARD on – because we love to give those we care about cards, don’t we?

You probably want to get this now – so make sure you are a member of the free Time to Pee club, and then sign in and download from the button below.

Once you are in, it’ll take you to the free exclusives we have on the site for those in the club. There are loads of them already to choose from, and more being added to the site all the time.
