Not content with offering this with KiddyCharts, Scholastic have another competition for you to enter as well. To encourage more children to keep reading, Scholastic are running an additional competition for three children to win £30 worth of books for themselves and £30 for their school or nursery.
To enter this additional competition, Scholastic is inviting children to send in a video or written review about a book they’ve recently enjoyed. There will be three different age range categories to enter (divided into 0-6 years, 7-11 years and 11+ years) with one prize available for each category.
Competition entries, stating the relevant age category, can be sent to Scholastic using the hashtag #KeepReading and by tagging Scholastic (@Scholastic UK) and World Book Day (@WorldBookDayUK). The three winners will be able to choose £30 worth of books for themselves and nominate their chosen school or nursery to receive a £30 credit to their Scholastic account, which can be exchanged for free books.

It brings back so many lovely childhood memories – I had all the Paddington books and my favourite time of day was when my beloved late Dad would tuck me up in bed and read it to me, doing lots of silly voices. I would have to choose Paddington. I remember reading the books myself as a child and now I have a baby of my own, have the pleasure of reading them to him. We only have Paddington At The Carnival so far which is a hand-me-down from his cousin which I’ll need to give back but I hope he’ll be able to pass his down to his child.
