Inspire your kids through play to win a Snuggle Sac #KiddyPlay (UK only)

Share your photos of kids play with us - to be in with a chance of winning!

I LOVE watching my kids play; I always have. I hide behind doors, in the kitchen, even behind the sofa, so they don’t notice me…just so I can capture them at play without them realising I am doing it.

Whether it is using the camera, or just capturing a memory that I can store in my mind’s eye. When they are sixteen and slamming doors in my face, I can then remember how they used to make chips, lemon and ice cream for me for pretend tea on their plastic kitchen. This might just make those teenage moments a little easier to deal with… *who am I kidding*

I have found Instagram, Twitter and Facebook wonderful for sharing those moments of play too…with family and friends. I really wanted to encourage others to celebrate the joy that social media can bring in sharing these wonderful moments.

With this in mind, I am starting a brand new monthly giveaway on KiddyCharts; #KiddyPlay; it is all about celebrating play in its many forms.

How to enter

All you need to do is share your photos with me on any of these three channels with the #KiddyPlay hashtag to enter, and we will pick the best one to win a wonderful prize. For Facebook entries, you will need to like my page, and then enter using the App on the KiddyCharts Facebook page.

Our judge this month, is the awesome Helen, from Crazy Kitchen. She will get all the photos anonymously, and pick the one that she thinks is the best, as per the #KiddyPlay terms and conditions.

Our sponsor this month, is Snuggle Sac. The winner gets their choice of Snuggle Sac from the site, so you can choose anything from Princess, to Spiderman, and everything else in between.

Which Snuggle Sac will you choose in our KiddyPlay giveaway?

What photos are we after?

But what type of photos are we looking for?

Absolutely anything; siblings playing, babies rattling, children running, kids climbing trees, parents playing Monopoly with their offspring – you name it, if it is play, then that is what we would love to see. I can’t think of anything better than looking through all the photographs either.

What’s the closing date?

Entries for the giveaway close on Friday 24th October, so you have plenty of time to capture those moments. You can enter more than once too, the more the merrier, and no need to gather votes; we just want to see as much playtime as we can. Do share the opportunity though, we would love to see as many of your kids having fun as we can.

After all the entries are in, we will contact the winner through the same means the photo was entered, and email if we have the relevant address. We will then announce the winner on the blog; along with mentions and links to the blogs (if relevant) of any of the photos that we loved the best. You can even pop your links to relevant posts on this blog post if you want to do so too; just below. No badges, just a bit of fun.

Come on everyone, lets have a playfest!

Helen is a mum to two, social media consultant, and website editor; and this site is (we think) the only Social Enterprise parenting magazine! Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time. KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania. Helen has worked as a digital marketing consultant (IDM qualified) with various organisations, including Channel Mum, Truprint, Talk to Mums, and Micro Scooters. She loves to be creative in the brand campaigns she works on. Get in touch TODAY!
