Disney Plus top picks

In order to help you out a little – here are our top picks for the family for the month – but why not check out Disney Plus for yourself and explore, to see if there is anything else that takes your fancy?

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder

Follow the Proud family, with Mum, Trudy, Dad, Oscar, and newly 14-year old, Penny Proud. Loads of brilliant references to the perils of modern life for teenagers, from social media savvy neighbours, to social influencers who are trying to cancel poor Penny.

The usual gang of friends is back with Penny, but there are new characters as well including Maya and KG, who are new, and also have to navigate the challenge of being slightly different too. They have two dads, which is a first for Smithville.

THE PROUD FAMILY: LOUDER AND PROUDER – “New Kids on the Block” (Disney) ZOEY HOWZER, PENNY PROUD, MICHAEL COLLINS, DIJONAY JONES

The Wonder Years

This is a massive favourite of KiddyCharts, that we can remember fondly watching when we were growing up.

The show is a fabulous coming of age comedy sitcom starring Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold, who is desperately trying to navigate his way through being a teen in suburban America.

The development of the storyline around his crush, “Winnie” is particularly charming, and the show is worth watching just for this.

These are our three top picks – but there are loads more fun shows, including two of the making of series for the Marvel films and shows, relating to both Eternal and Hawkeye.

Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time. KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania. Helen has worked as a digital marketing consultant (IDM qualified) with various organisations, including Channel Mum, Truprint, Talk to Mums, and Micro Scooters.
