  • Bees and bugs in the garden,
  • Butterflies and flowers,
  • Playing outside in the sun,
  • Picking flowers and gardening,
  • Magical spring time fairy castle, and
  • What does spring mean to you?

We have provided writing paper for the tasks too, to keep everything all in one place for you and the class or your kids.

These sheets will allow you to talk to your children, and class about some of the important aspects of spring, so that the spring worksheets aren’t just about writing, they encompass a number of different activities. Perhaps you can include information on:

  • New life and growth in the season,
  • Importance of bugs within the garden, particularly bees, butterflies and beyond,
  • Helping kids to explore their imaginations, and to be inspired by what they see in the pictures, but also in the world around them. Perhaps you can get outside and explore your gardens, and discuss what they have found when they have been out and about in the spring. What colours to they see, what tetures, all of which can be incorporated into the writing thay do and finally,
  • How does getting out and exploring in the spring make us feel? What does it feel like when the rain hits our faces? Does going outside make us feel happier and more positive? What’s the best thing about being outdoors, and perhaps what do you like most about the springtime?

So many ideas for extending the activity – let us know what else you do with it too!
