Heroic stories are really popular with kids from around the world; we all love a good knight’s tale! Which heroes do your children love? In the UK, our patron saint is St George; a knight dispatched to slay a Dragon! This legend means that knights are popular heroes from the middle ages with our kids. So, if YOU want to give your family a bit of a British treat; making a paper knight for kids is a great idea. Thanks to our latest printable you can give it a go today.

Galdo’s Gift eBook

This book is about King Galdo who has sent 4 heroes on a quest to find gifts for YOU; the readers. Do things happen as they are expected? Do they come back with the wonderful gifts? Will they be successful? You will have to read the book to find out!

Special features for the book include:

  1. This is not a printable eBook, it’s also not a movie, it’s what we call as a Boovie! – a book and a movie. Sounds fantastic, right? The book incorporates motion and text, even sounds.
  2. The main character, King Galdo, narrates each verse with wonderfully rich imagery as every scene is a short, looping animated illustration. You will be able to enjoy the well-loved UK TV actor Brian Murphy who narrates the part of the king.
  3. To build up the vocabulary, there are pop-up definitions for most of the words in the eBook; this helps children to read more independently.
  4. As the book has 63 pages; it is a good choice to bridge children between picture books to a more challenging chapter book.
  5. The music score helps children to be more engaged, and brings the story to life even more.
