Parent Blogging All Stars #18: Family Four Fun

familyfourfunThis week’s Parent Blogging All Star is the lovely Emily from Family Four Fun.  She’s a busy lady with three young children who started blogging after googling ‘how to keep chickens’.  Find out what happened next:

Your Name:

Emily Foran

Blog Name:

Family Four Fun

What are the sexes and ages of your children?:

Master E is 9, Madam 7, Cian 3 & Fifi nearly 2.

What got you into parent blogging?:

Back in 2007 whilst living in Ireland I was googling ‘how to keep chickens’ and came across a blog ‘English Mum in Ireland’ and was hooked – I read the whole thing beginning to end in one night! She had started the blog to keep family at home updated so I decided to do the same. I didn’t keep it up that time but family pestered me as to why not so just after Fifi was born I started again. Like us ‘English Mum in Ireland’ moved back home and is now the infamous ‘English Mum’.

What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):

Lower yourself to their level! Laugh, play, be silly and have fun. These years fly by so enjoy them as much as possible!

Can you share a parenting advice post with us from your blog too; your favourite one? Why do you like this post? Please include the link for
us.:

Although I don’t do much advice, in fitting with what I said above this post was the end result to a dreadfully hard and stressful week…

I adore Ruth at Rock’n’Roller Baby http://www.rocknrollerbaby.co.uk/ all her posts are full energy and enthusiasm it’s infectious. She is funny, honest and real and her ranting often has my laughing aloud.
