A. Bello

A. Bello grew up in Stoke Newington and wrote her first novel when she was 8 years old. She went on to write the first Emily Knight book when she was only 12. Her Emily Knight series is specifically aimed at filling what she feels is a "gaping hole" in children's fiction. And offers an inspirational, strong, black female protagonist, which she states "fights like a man." Though we feel that Emily Knight fights like a strong independent woman! 😀
