ID – Apple Crumble With Simply’s Award-Winning Cinnamon Ice Cream
Ingredients for the fruit filling:
5large Cooking apples
Ingredients for the Crumble Topping:
For the fruit filling:
Peel and chop the cooking apples into even chunks and place in a large bowl and squeeze lemon juice over the fruit. Add the cinnamon, raisins and the sweet cider and stir together. Place all the ingredients in a deep oven proof dish
For the Crumble topping:
Mix together the porridge oats, butter, sugar, flour, cinnamon and ginger until mix resembles a crumb mix and spread evenly on the top of the apple mix.
Cook in oven at 180° until the apple mix starts to bubble up through the topping and the crumble turns a golden brown approximately 45 mins check frequently.
