We shared the flat version of our Royal Game of Ur template with you before, and today we bring you the 3D version for you to build. This fun game is inspired by the Royal Game of Ur. The game was discovered in the city of Ur in Ancient Egypt in the 1920s. The game is said to be similar to backgammon. It’s a strategy game that is a mix of both strategy and luck. The game actually goes back as far as the third millenium BC.
For full details on the game and how to build it – check out our article, but just so you get an idea the game is to run the course of the board and bear all one’s pieces off before one’s opponent. This is a brilliant game, and a great way to teach kids about maths, science, and just plain fun! We really hope that you enjoy it.
We have 2 versions of the game, this flat version and a 3D version. Take a look at the flat version and why not download them both? You will have hours of family fun regardless of which option you choose to download.
