We’ve got another fun craft for you today. This time we are focusing on a cute green parrot paper craft. This is a fun activity for your kids to help their motor skills by practicing their tracing, cutting, and assembling the cute little parrot. Let’s take a look at the craft.

The supplies that you will need for the green parrot paper craft are things that you probably already have lying around the house. Which makes this craft the perfect activity to make on days where you just need something to keep the little hands busy.

Here’s what you will need –

List of Supplies:

  1. Colored craft papers
  2. Craft glue
  3. Black sharpie
  4. Pencil
  5. Scissors

Instructions:

Step 1:
Select red, brown and 3 different shades of green colored papers. Trace the beak on the red paper and the legs on the brown paper. Trace the rest of the patterns (head, wings, tail and body) on different shades of green colored craft papers.

Step 2:
Attach the beak on a side of the head (round shaped paper), making sure to keep the pointy edge of the beak facing outwards. Attach the eye on the head pattern as well.

Step 3:
Attach the tail pattern on the back side of the big teardrop pattern (the body base).

Step 4:
Attach the 2 small teardrop shaped papers together (the wing) and then attach them along the top side of the body base.

Step 5:
Attach the head pattern on the body base by placing it on the opposite side of the tail pattern.
