What Wolf printables are there

We are giving you 3 of the total 14 pages within the free printable wolf coloring pages so you get a little taster of the offer we have from the premium site for these wolf coloring pages. We know that wolves are usually synonymous with the classic fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood.

We have paired our fabulous grey wolf with a lot of different characters and items beginning with the letter “W.”

All with the idea of helping your child or classroom get familiar with the sight and sound of the letter in different words, and ways within the English language.

In the two sheets we have for you, our wolf printables contain a wagon and the word, wonderful. Both of which we hope will agree are wonderful words for our wolf (!).

These wolf pictures is perfect for toddlers/preschoolers, and early years/kindergarten as well as the first few years of primary / first grade. It could just be for those that really love wolves of course as well, so kids of all ages would love to get stuck into coloring this pages in.

Who doesn’t love this cute little gray wolf character though, so it would make a perfect set of printable coloring pages for any child really, that liked wolves.

Because we wanted these sheets to be suitable for younger children, you will need to go elsewhere for more detailed coloring sheets, but they do provide a good lesson around the letter ‘W” so it depends what you are looking for from your coloring.

Learning activities for your wolf coloring sheets

Some ideas of what you can do with them, alongside literacy support is:

  • Use them as writing prompts for stories,
  • Extend the activity a little by getting kids to draw baby wolves, with the wolf character in these pages as an example of what a cartoon wolf looks like,
  • Color in the sheets, and use color recognition while you are doing so, perhaps using favorite colors,
  • Think of other things beginning with “W” and draw on a blank sheet of paper with the coloring sheets,
  • Write a story with a big wolf in it, or recall some of the fairy tales with wolves in, such as The Three Little Pigs, Red Riding Hood, and perhaps even the myth about Rome being built with Romulus and Remus, which included a lone wolf called Lupercal, who raised the twins.

All of these activities with these free coloring pages are a fun way to improve motor skills in younger kids. All these free sheets are only for personal use of course, and must not be resold or used for commercial use in any way.

We know you want your PDF download now, so all you need to do to get the free printable sheets is to click on the button below.
