This week’s Parent Blogging All Star is Hannah from Make, Do and Push. Hannah got into blogging to document her journey into motherhood. Find out more about her here:
What are the sexes and ages of your children?:
I have a beautiful little girl, “Busby”, who is 15 months old.
What got you into parent blogging?:
I wanted a way to document my journey into the wilderness of Motherhood when I was pregnant. After studying English at University (and consequently doing a lot of creative writing) I knew I wanted to continue my passion, and a blog seemed the perfect outlet! I’m also an over-sharer…!
What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):
This is a parenting tip for us Mums, as sometimes we need a little advice too: It’s ok not to be ok. You can’t (and won’t) be the perfect parent every day, and that’s totally fine. But if you’re feeling sad frequently, or feel like you can’t cope, please talk to a Doctor or Health Visitor. I put it off for so long and was eventually diagnosed with PND.
Can you share a parenting advice post with us from your blog too; your favourite one? Why do you like this post? Please include the link for us.:
It’s an alternative one, but my “How to survive a zombie apocalypse with a baby” post has proved very popular! (http://www.makedoandpush.co.uk/2013/02/how-to-survive-zombie-apocalypsewith.html)
Who’s your favourite parent blogger at the moment and why? Please include a link to their blog home page.:
I love Tea, Cake and My Boy (http://teacakeandmyboy.blogspot.co.uk/), Julia writes so honestly and her photos are always beautiful.
