I have one little girl, who’ll be three at the end of April.

What got you into parent blogging?:

I got into reading parenting blogs just after I fell pregnant with Amy and Carol from New Mummy’s Tips (http://newmummystips.blogspot.co.uk/) really motivated me to give it a go myself. I have been writing (for myself and professionally) for most of my adult life and I saw blogging as a great way to record our life for us as well as family and friends abroad.

What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):

Trust your instincts. There’s so much great and not so great advice out there and sometimes it can be hard to know what’s right for you and your child. When things get overwhelming and everyone suggests something different, take a step back and listen to what your heart tells you.

I haven’t written any parenting advice posts because I think parenting is a very individual matter. Something that works for my family might not work at all for someone else.
