Do we have a treat in store for you today!  Do you or your children adore puffins? Do you have Nick Junior on your TV at home or mobile device?  If yes, you are going to LOVE today’s offerings.  We have a set of Puffin Rock printables for you to download and colour in at your leisure.

All this is to support to the new preschool series of Puffin Rock that launched on Monday 18th May at 6.30pm and will continue to run at that time on weekdays.

This new animated series follows a young puffling called Oona and her brother, Baba as they set off on a variety of adventures.  we follow the young puffins as they look to explore the Irish island that they live on. Here is a little peak for you all…

Puffin Rock TV series | Sneak Peek

This new series is aimed at 3-5 year olds and the beautiful animations will enchant them whilst parents will be able to understand the educational nature of the show as they share their world with their audience.  The show ties in very well with the pre-bedtime slot with the soft, lyrical tone of the animation.

The show is co-produced by Oscar nominated Irish animation studio, Cartoon Saloon, global publisher Penguin Random House Children’s, and Northern Irish children’s media company, Dog Ears, Puffin Rock will air weekdays at 6:30pm on Nick Jr. The show stars 11 year old Kate McCafferty from Derry as the voice of Oona. McCafferty also sings the theme song for the series.
