How to use the addition worksheets

To set with you need to gather the materials need for the game:

  • Scissors,
  • Glue,
  • Templates and tools for the game, which are available by clicking on the circular image at the end of this post, and
  • Some children to play with!

As always on KiddyCharts, we are trying to keep this simple for you, so you can easily get started, without too much fussing about first.

1. Make the Pizza dice

Pizza Printable Addition worksheets

It is easy to create the dice, as it is a simple cube net. Just cut out, fold in the tabs, and then glue.

2. Next make sure you have cut out the plates and the pizza

As you can see, we have given you three sheets of pizzas, and six plates. The game can be played with 2-6 players.

3. Roll and dice and add Pizza to your plate

In order to play the game, all you need to do is roll the die, and add that number of pizzas to your plate, you can then take it in turns to roll.

At the end of the game, which is when all the pizzas have gone, the winner is the child/person with the most pizza on there plate.

Encourage your children to count their own pizza, and to add the up the pizzas each time they roll the die; so 2 pizza added to the 4 already on the plate is 6, and so on. This way you are incorporating addition into the game as much as you can.

Good luck with the game – we hope you think it is as much fun as we do.
