Holidays-with-kids-making-them-excitedKiddyCharts are guesting on the Teletext Holidays website today to celebrate the release of the Great British Holiday report, which reveals lots of interesting insights into how families like to holiday, chatting about how to get your kids excited about going away on holiday.

Surprisingly, we discovered that this can actually be quite difficult, particularly with younger children who either don’t understand what holidays are all about, or possibly get a wee bit worried about being away from home.

Over on the Teletext blog – I have written about holidays with kids, giving my top 7 tips about how we can get the kids excited about holidays. Why not pop on over and check it out.

What are your tips for getting your kids excited? Do share them below as well.

Helen is a mum to two, and social media consultant and website editor. Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time. KiddyCharts now works with big family brands to help them promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. Helen also helps other organisations with their social media and blogging strategies, including working part-time as a community manager with Truprint. She can often be found hanging about on social media, and trying to avoid stepping on the Lego her kids keep leaving lying around.
