In the film, this busy little bee is ready to leave her hive and live in the meadow. Maya thinks the world is just too big and fascinating to remain confined to the restricted life that the hive offers. But soon she realizes that a bigger challenge beckons and that together with her best friend Willy, she must return to the hive in order to save the hive from the greedy advisor to the queen and to bring an end to the hostility between hornets and bees that has been going on for ages. Ready to embark on an un-bee-lievable adventure with Maya and her friends?
Directed by Alexs Stadermann and featuring the voices of Coco Jack Gillies (Mad Max: Fury Road), Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Jacki Weaver, (Silver Lining Playbooks, Animal Kingdom), Miriam Margolyes (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2) and Richard Roxburgh (Moulin Rouge, Van Helsing, Mission Impossible 2)

Helen is a mum to two, social media consultant, and website editor; and this site is (we think) the only Social Enterprise parenting magazine! Since giving up being a business analyst when juggling travel, work and kids proved too complicated, she founded KiddyCharts so she could be with her kids, and use those grey cells at the same time. KiddyCharts has reach of over 1.1million across social and the site. The blog works with big family brands (including travel) to help promote their services, as well as offering free resources to parents of kids under 10. It gives 51%+ profits to Reverence for Life, who fund a number of important initiatives in Africa, including bringing running water and basic equipment to a school in Tanzania.
