This week’s Parent Blogging All Star is Jo from My Monkeys Don’t Sit Still. She has 2 boys and first started blogging when realising she needed something for her. Here is her full story:
What are the sexes and ages of your children?:
I have two sons. Little monkey is 3yrs old. Big monkey is so to be 6yrs old.
What got you into parent blogging?:
I needed something for me. Something to focus on and enjoyed reading friends blogs. I thought I would like to give it a go myself and am loving blogging! It’s a great way to keep a record of my sons childhood and the fun we have as a family.
What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):
Try really hard to see things through their eyes sometimes. Young children see things as being fun when we might see their fun as something else! I’ve relived parts of my own childhood since having the boys and it’s bought back great memories, which has helped me understand where they’re at! They grow up far too quickly, so enjoy the former years.
Can you share a parenting advice post with us from your blog too; your favourite one? Why do you like this post? Please include the link for us.:
I’ve no posts written on the subject of parenting advice to date. I’m no expert and am still learning myself!
Who’s your favourite parent blogger at the moment and why? Please include a link to their blog home page.:
I love The Oliver’s Madhouse (http://theoliversmadhouse.co.uk/) because it’s full of fun, includes current affairs and is real to life. Go read, I think you’ll love it too.
