I have two girls, aged 6 (nearly 7), and 4 years old

What got you into parent blogging?:

I have always loved to write. I originally started blogging to combine practising writing with sharing parenting tips with my friends so that they wouldn’t make the same mistakes I did.

I quickly got hooked and realised yesterday that I have been blogging for 5 years nearly now!

What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s):

My top tip is to remember who is boss, and if you need your child to do something, like get dressed for the day, don’t ‘ask’ them, ‘tell’ them. You can still do this with a please and a thank you, but there is a difference in the sentence and tone. The tone will be your friend. Learn the ‘boss’ tone!
