LouiseThis week, our Parent Blogging All Star is Louise from A Yummy Mummy? Really? Let’s find out some more about her! Your Name: Louise Imelda Shufflebottom Blog Name: A Yummy Mummy? Really? What are the sexes and ages of your children?: I have two girls, aged 6 (nearly 7), and 4 years old What got you into parent blogging?: I have always loved to write.  I originally started blogging to combine practising writing with sharing parenting tips with my friends so that they wouldn’t make the same mistakes I did. I quickly got hooked and realised yesterday that I have been blogging for 5 years nearly now! What is your top parenting tip to share with our readers? Can be on any topic for little ones :-) (under 8s): My top tip is to remember who is boss, and if you need your child to do something, like get dressed for the day, don’t ‘ask’ them, ‘tell’ them.  You can still do this with a please and a thank you, but there is a difference in the sentence and tone.  The tone will be your friend. Learn the ‘boss’ tone! Can you share a parenting advice post with us from your blog too; your favourite one? Why do you like this post? Please include the link for us.: Friends have found this post, on rekindling your relationship after having children helpful. http://yummymummyreally.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/how-to-rekindle-your-relationship-after.html Who’s your favourite parent blogger at the moment and why? Please include a link to their blog home page.: I often find myself back at Red Ted Art at http://www.redtedart.com/. I love crafting, but don’t get the time to think of ideas so this website is a great one to dip into for inspiration on what to do with that spare toilet roll, egg box and straw!   If you would like to feature here, then do fill out our form.
