The summer holidays are now in full swing. Who is hearing cries of “Mum, I’m bored” already? We had a wonderful day on Saturday seeing the film, Inside Out. Have you heard of it? You can read what we thought about it, but I would recommend anybody to go and see it!
However, that was just one day and I’m sure you can’t go to the cinema every day throughout the holidays so why not take a look through these 12 activities to see if there is anything you can fill the coming week with.
Back to what we are really here for, this week’s party!! It’s my turn to host this week and I had a fair few to choose from last week so take a look at what my favourites were. Is your post there?
The first one is from Rock-A-Bye Parents, and offers us some great books for trips to the dentist for our kids. I HATE going to the dentist, and really struggled to prevent my anxiety from transferring to the kids. These books will be a great help for anyone in a similar position.
My other choice is from Sew Travel Inspired and is a delightful bean bag game that you can make with, and for, your children. Do go check it out, you’ll love to play it over the summer, I am sure.
If you have been featured, you can grab our badge for this if you would like….

Our party is very popular so, if you are new to the blogging world and would like a few more views or, you have been here a while but need a reminder of what to, here is how it goes:
- Scroll to the bottom of this post, and use the link to add your post to our collection at the end of this post, send me a tweet me if you struggle
- I shall pin all the posts for you to the Monday Parenting Party Board. I shall also re-pin relevant ones to my other boards too and I have rather a lot of followers
- It would be wonderful if you could visit some of the other posts within the list, and say you stopped by, and leave some comments, including your Pinterest ID, so you can be found on there too
- We would love it if you could add the badge to the post you originally shared too; this is a fair bit of work and we would appreciate some love in return.
