Hello everyone – and welcome (only just) to 2015!
I hope you have all survived the holiday season, we are here very early for our monthly parenting tips linky, and this month, as we going to be pulling together some of those posts that talk about bedwetting for you all.
For children, and parents, this can be a distressing time. Bed wetting can be both a behavioural and development issue for children, and even a little bit of both. Whatever the reason, depending on the age of the child, it can cause them a little embarrassment amongst their friends. Particularly when they are of an age when they are looking to start sleeping over at other friends houses, or with groups of kids at school or in clubs.
To help those of you that needs a little advice around bedwetting, it seemed sensible to bring some of those relevant resources together so that you could have a look at what was relevant to your child, and what isn’t. If you are concerned, do also seek the help of your local medical practitioner/GP as they are there to spot whether that is a genuine developmental issue, and can often alleviate your concerns, or help you gain help if your child needs assistance.
If you have any resources that you have found useful, or have wrtten anything relevant to bedwetting then do feel free to add them to the list below. Please don’t post promotional products here though.
Anything on these topics and beyond would be great:
- General advice from those that have experienced it in their children
- How to help parents with children with special needs
- Information on developmental issues around bedwetting
- Support for parents experiencing bedwetting in their children
- Anything else relevant and not promotional.
I would be grateful if you can use our badge for any blog posts you do add too, not compulsory of course though.
