I don’t normally do competitions, but I couldn’t resist this one…£200 worth of vouchers, including £50 from Vertbaudet, and, quite frankly, for that, I would dress my cat… Vertbaudet: Dressing the Cat However, as you can see from this – he didn’t like the idea, so I looked at the Vertbaudet website to see what my daughter would like to wear on Mother’s Day instead… She is a tall lass for her 8-years, and has a fondness for art, and sparkle, so we are going for this wonderful patterned dress, which reminds me of some of the lovely pictures she has drawn me over the years. There is also another reason for choosing this… purchases of the dress raise money for UNICEF too with the company supporting their vaccination programmes. I can’t think of anything better to do on Mothers’ Day than help mothers less well off than you are..

The dress has a lot of beautiful colours within it, so would be a versatile addition to her wardrobe. There are a couple of pairs of leggings on the site too, which would also work perfectly with it…

Perhaps the pink in the summer, and brown in the spring and the autumn?

The only thing missing now from this outfit would be the bit sparkle that she dearly loves…and what girl doesn’t like a pair of sparkly shoes to wear on a special occasion?

What do you think – would she cut a good figure on the 30th March when she is serving me breakfast in bed *I wish*?

This is my entry into the Vertbaudet competition for bloggers to win £200 as detailed on Baby Budgeting’s website.
